Social Media MarketingIn the age of social media, EVERYONE has a phone: Those 10 year olds that shouldn't, my grandmother, even some people's dogs probably own a cell phone. That must be why there are so many dog posts on Instagram...what a world we live in!There are ways to get more followers, without paying for those rip-off services to get you them. Foundr has some good resources on how to get 10k followers in 2 weeks! It might seem too good to be true, but a lot of it is based on statistics and the logarithms that Instagram uses. It doesn't hurt to try right?Other ways that have been used to help gain followers, some wonderful folks have F4F (follow for follow) groups on Instagram, or Facebook (which can sometimes lead to flakes who follow you and unfollow immediately). It might take a little bit of time to find those loyal people (FANS!) who stay connected. There are even Pop-ups that happen around the city (ahem, some of the people in the Co-op hosted one) that I know have been set up to help get your social media in tip-top shape, and it works! Having the right content, and posting consistently, whether it be 2x a week or everyday can give your fans something to drool over.
